14 days, no questions asked. If Matteshot is not for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain why.
Matteshot has a 14-day trial that needs no card and holds nothing back. It starts with your first completed capture, not when you install. The refund window exists for the cases the trial cannot catch, not as the main way to evaluate the product.
Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or include your order number. That is the whole process. We do not ask for a reason, though we always read it if you give one, and it is usually how bugs get found.
We aim to reply within two business days.
Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Once approved, banks and card issuers typically take 5 to 10 business days to post it. That part is outside our control.
You will get the full amount you paid, including any tax collected.
A refund and a working license are alternatives, not both. When a refund is processed, the license key is deactivated and Matteshot returns to its unlicensed state on any PC where it was activated, usually within an hour of the device next reaching our server.
Anything you already made stays yours. Screenshots, recordings, and edits are ordinary files on your PC and are not touched, locked, or watermarked.
Past 14 days we are not obliged to refund, but we are not rigid about it either. If something has gone wrong, write to us and say what happened. A license that never worked, a duplicate purchase, or a charge you did not recognize will be sorted out regardless of the date.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days. Where you have asked for immediate access and acknowledged that this ends the withdrawal right, that acknowledgement applies, but our own 14-day no-questions policy above gives you the same outcome either way.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right you have by law.
